Tired of the constant Texas heat? Jennifer Keen's 21st Century class cooled off by throwing an impromptu snowball fight. The 21st Century summer camp is a free enrichment program available to all Rockdale ISD elementary students, according to Kristi Moreland, district Community Education coordinator. As one of the many fun science projects the kids participated in, they made their own snow that was actually cold and wet to the touch. After learning the ins and out of how real snow forms, they got to "experiment" with their projects.
