Rogers

Graveside services for Cory Rogers, 36, of Cedar Park were held Saturday, June 27, 2009, in I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Navarre of Forest Grove Christian Church officiating.

Mr. Rogers died Tuesday, June 23, at his home in Cedar Park.

He was born Oct. 13, 1972, in Taylor to Wayne and Janice (Diver) Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was raised and lived most of his life in Rockdale. He had been a Cedar Park resident for the past five years.

He married Lorie Sari on June 26, 2004, at Forest Grove.

Mr. Rogers was a selfe contractor.

He was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church, coached girl's softball for years and also enjoyed playing baseball and later softball.

Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Evans, on June 21.

Survivors are his wife, Lorie Rogers of Cedar Park; a son, Br yce Rogers of Cedar Park; four daughters, Ashley Neely and Madison Neely, both of Cedar Park, Cortney Rogers and Carley Rogers, both of Rockdale; his parents, Wayne and Janice Rogers of Rockdale; a sister, Wendy Praesel of Rockdale; two brothers, Marcus Evans and wife Delaine of Katy, Richard Evans and wife Denise of Rockdale; and two grandchildren, Luke Ryan Conner and Emiliano Salomon; also, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
