What great things happened last week that are all a part of Americana that small towns are so known for, and that people write books about. The fireworks on Friday night were impressive and I am so appreciative of Citizens National Bank that they do this for the whole community. Full Story
Mareks rack up wine awards
Georgetown Winery, owned by former Rockdale residents Dan Marek Jr. and wife Becca, won the "best of the best" award at the Lone Star International Wine Competition. The winery won the Best Port Wine category. Full Story

Asera Healthcare, with offices in Austin and Bastrop, joined the Chamber of Commerce this week.
