90TH BIRTHDAY


More than 100 family, friends and former customers of Belle and Jim Greer attended Mrs. Greer's 90th birthday party, held at Patterson Civic Center in Rockdale on Sunday, July 12. The Greers owned and operated The Fabric Shop, a popular downtown business, for 30 years. Here, the honoree (seated) is greeted by Faye Davidson. Jim's sister, 92, came from Lubbock. Attendees also came from Rockport, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Lampasas, as well as Rockdale and surrounding communities.
