Fans, school supplies being collected here

We are busy collecting fans for the low income and the elderly and I am so appreciative of those who have brought fans or money by to get those fans. We have given away over 50 fans and we have more coming so hopefully we can keep everyone cool.

We are also beginning our school supply collection and thanks to Walmart, Rotary Club and VFW Post 6525 we will have a good school supply promotion. Our plan is to give the school supplies away on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 3-5 p.m. at the VFW on Highway 79.

If you would like to help with that please call me at the Chamber at 446-2030.
