RAINY WRECK


Milano Fire Chief Jesse Love directs traffic during an intense rainstorm at the US 79-Texas 36 intersection in Milano that produced a two-vehicle accident at 10:40 a.m. Thursday. Trooper Erik Gaston listed the driver of this Saturn sedan as 21-year-old Jacob Moody of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas. Moody and a passenger, 18-year-old Jessie Thompson of Magness, Arkansas, were treated at Central Texas Hospital in Cameron. Gaston said the Saturn was northbound on 36 when it collided with the trailer of an eastbound truck rig on US 79. Driver was listed as Enrique Marin of Dallas. Damages were extensive to the car and minor to the truck rig.
