PICKING UP THE PACE


The Big Blue Band from Tigerland continues summer practice in the Tiger Field parking lot and the RHS musicians are less than a week from their first public performance. The band will be on hand in the junior-high gym for the annual Meet the Tigers social which begins at 6 p.m. Monday. Members of fall sports teams will be introduced along with coaches, cheerleaders, drill team and band members and more. The Big Blue Band will make its marching debut Aug. 28 at Llano during halftime.
