No injuries in San Gabriel wrecks

There were no injuries in two highway accidents investigated during the past week by Milam County state troopers, both in the San Gabriel area.

Trooper Broderick Sims said a vehicle operated by Alton Minze, 57, of Round Rock, missed the FM 3061-FM 486 intersection in San Gabriel at 8:50 p.m. Monday and sustained moderate damage.

Trooper Ernest DelBosque said a vehicle driven by Laura Crisp, 43, of Thorndale swerved to miss a skunk at 1:45 p.m. Friday on FM 1331, 1.4 miles south of San Gabriel and hit a tree.

Moderate damage was reported, DelBosque said.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
