GRAND CENTRAL STATION

The lunchroom-gymnasium wing at the new Rockdale Intermediate School is about to become a very busy place. Furniture is moving in this week and in less than two weeks this same view will include hundreds of students each morning and afternoon. Once school starts on Monday, Aug. 24, students will either be eating breakfast in the cafeteria or gathering in the gym each morning before dismissing to attend classes. The process reverses itself each afternoon with bus riding students waiting for transportation in the gym and others waiting in the cafeteria. The intermediate (grades 3-5) school day runs from 7:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. The lunchroom-gymnasium wing at the new Rockdale Intermediate School is about to become a very busy place.
