Six sentenced in 20th District Court action

CAMERON—Six persons drew sentences ranging from probation to prison terms last week in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Leslie Beck, 55, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and credit card abuse, nine-month state jail term. Beck also pleaded guilty to theft ($15,000 to $20,000), twoyear state jail term probated five years, theft aversion classes, no unsupervised visits with victim, $8,684.95 restitution.

• Sheridan Dunham, 66, Cameron, pleaded true to violating probation conditions on an original charge of DWI-third or more offense, three-year prison term.

• Delmon Zahn Cude, 32, Milano, pleaded guilty to forgery by passing, two-year prison term, $180.04 restitution. Cude also pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drew another two-year term with sentences to run concurrently.

• Leroy Taylor, 44, Cameron, pleaded true to violating probation conditions for possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), 18-month state jail term. Taylor also pleaded true to violating probation conditions for endangering a child and drew another 18-month state jail term.

• Kenneth Eugene Drones Jr., 26, Cameron, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), twoyear state jail term, $140 restitution. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) and drew a 9-year prison term plus $140 restitution.

• Trey Lee Johnson, 29, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram) five years deferred adjudication probation, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $140 restitution.
