Posey Posey The United States Acheivement Academy (USAA) has announced Joseph Posey, of Thorndale, has been named an All-American Scholar.

USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. "Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America's history. Certainly, students recognized as All-American Scholars should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement," said Dr. George Stevens, found of USAA.

The Academy selects All-American scholars upon the exclusive recommendation of teachers, coaches, counselors and other qualified sponsors.

Posey is the son of Bill and Debi Posey of Thorndale. His grandparents are Homer and Barbara Rutledge of Thorndale and Margie Posey of Thrall.
