Tigers wade past Mustangs 9-7
Big Blue won a gritty 9-7 battle with the help of a fourth-quarter safety on Friday on a muddy Madisonville field. Tyler Wright had a 51-yard TD reception and Logan David and Justin Gadison teamed for the safety. RB Greg Chelf led the Tigers with 87 yards rushing. Full Story

BELL TOLLS FOR THE TIGERS The 2009 Tigers left no doubt which is the most dominant football team in Milam County after a 41-21 victory over the Cameron Yoemen in the annual "Battle of the Bell." RHS' rolled up 387 yards in offense and the Tiger defense shut down the usually potent Yoeman rushing game. Rockdale will keep the bell for the next year, but Yoe still holds the advantage at 38-17 in the 55-year football tradition. Full Story
