Tigers trounce Rudder 28-0

The Rockdale Tigers racked up over 300 rushing yards and took it to the Bryan Rudder Rangers 28-0 Friday night at Tiger Field. 

The 7-0 Tigers were led by Greg Chelf, 189 yards on 24 carries, and Joe Sanders, who broke a 15-year-old RHS receiving record with a 60-yard TD catch.  The senior now has 1,373 receiving yards. 

Big Blue lost a two-way starter when Derrick Mynar was taken out with a probable ACL injury.  Next up for Big Blue is Navasota, who was beaten 14-0 on Friday by Caldwell.

In other Milam County action, Thorndale defeated Bartlett 27-26 in overtime and Milano downed Granger 23-6.
