Cameron man faces charges on drug and forgery offenses

A 29-year-old Cameron man was arrested last Tuesday by Cameron police on drug and forgery offenses.

Charles Henr y Ellison was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone and forgery of a financial instrument.

He remains in custody on $10,000 bond.

Sex offenses

Way ne A nthony Tabor, 27, of Buckholts was charged with indecency with a child (exposing) on Saturday.

He remains in custody on $25,000 bond.

The sheriff's department is investigating a reported sexual assault, apparently in Cameron, reported on Saturday.

The department would not release any details, saying the matter is under investigation.
