The Rockdale Lady Tigers dropped a pair of District 24-3A contests as they prepare to close out the season.

The Lady Tigers fell to Navasota on the road Friday 25-15, 25-11, 25-23 and then another road match to Cameron 25-7, 25- 9, 25-15 Tuesday night.

Rockdale falls to 7-19 overall and 1-9 in league play.

Tuesday night against Cameron, senior Crystal Callas recorded seven kills, four digs, three assists and a block.

Kristsa Phillips followed with three kills, two blocks and one assist, while Katherine Dodd had two digs and two assists and Bailey Pannell nine digs.

Against Navasota, Callas turned in 10 assists, eight kills, four digs, one ace and one block.

Senior Emily Ammon backed up Callas with two kills, two digs and a serving ace.

Katie Strelsky pocketed nine assists and an ace, Brittany Frei seven kills and a block, Meagan Frei one kill and one block, Lyndee Pannell two digs and two kills, Hailey Offield two aces and one kill, Bailey Pannell six digs, Jill Young one kill and Lathica Lucero one kill.

The Lady Tigers close out the season Friday and Tuesday with home games against league leading Caldwell and Madisonville.

Caldwell (25-11, 10-0), Cameron (26-8, 7-2) and Taylor (7-3) are currently in the top three positions in the district standings, with Bryan Rudder (23-11, 6-4) on the outside looking in.
