OPERATION HUGGABLES

OPERATION Cooper Smith (L) delivered 505 stuffed animals last week for Milam County 4-H HUGGABLES Operation Huggables. They have collected and delivered 830 stuffed animals to military children of all ages across the state. Instead of the empty arms on departure day, kids will be able to hug their huggables before, during, and after deployment. Operation Huggables appreciates all who have donated, but there is still a shortage. If you have any new or gently-hugged teddy bears, dolls, or other stuffed animals of "huggable" size, there will be a box located at the extension office in Cameron. If you need someone to pick up the stuffed animals, call William Dean (512) 446-2845, or Cooper Smith, 254) 697-4049.
