Four draw sentences in district court action
Four persons drew sentences last week in Judge Ed Magre's 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears who listed case dispositions as follows:
• William Joseph Taylor, 27, Cameron, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle, four years deferred adjudication probation, $2,500 fine, standard probation conditions.
• Richard Roy Green Jr., 25., Cameron, pleaded "true" to violating probation conditions on an original charge of burglary of a habitation. He was assessed a five-year prison term.
• Eric Scott Carlile, 26, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), three years deferred adjudication probation, including substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $140 restitution to Department of Public Safety lab.
• Richard James Muñoz, 57, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to injury to the elderly, 10-year prison term probated five years, standard terms of probation including have no contact with victim and anger management classes.
