Health department offers free flu vaccines

Milam County Health Department will offering H1N1 flu vaccines to Milam County residents. Adults and children 6 months of age and up may get the vaccine on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Vaccines will be given free of charge from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 and Tuesday, Nov. 10 or as supplies last at the Milam County Youth Expo Building (beside the Health Department), 301 S. Houston, Cameron.

H1N1 flu mist and H1N1 shots are also available. Call 254-697-7039 for more information.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
