We have ill residents in our community that are in need of prayer. Naomi White's mother, Minnie Brown of Rockdale is back at home after a stay in a Temple hospital. John H. Yakesch is in the hospital in Temple and Elroy Butler, father of Milano ISD superintendent Lindy Robinson, is in the Rockdale hospital. We wish them all a speedy recovery.

We extend our sympathy to the Craig Magee family. He passed away at a Temple hospital on Oct. 31. Services were Nov. 3 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween on Saturday. From all reports "Trunk and Treat" held at the high school was a big success. We enjoy seeing all the costumes on the young and older trick-ortreaters.

Thank you to the ladies that donated shoe boxes to our Operation Christmas Child at Friendship Baptist Church. I really do appreciate it.
