Hospital Auxiliary sets luncheon/auction event

Richards Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold a Christmas luncheon and silent auction from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at St. John's United Methodist Church fellowship hall.

This will be the Auxiliary's main fund-raiser for the year, according to Sue Ohlswager, president. Tickets for the hot lunch are $10 each and can be purchased at the hospital's front desk or from any Auxiliary member.

Donations of gently used and new items for the silent auction will be welcomed. To make a donation, call Ohlswager, 446- 2282.

The group will have its regular monthly meeting at noon Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the hospital cafeteria. Ohlswager listed agenda items as the Christmas luncheon and silent auction, and holiday decorating of the hospital.

The RMH Auxiliary welcomes new members. If interested, fill out an application that can be found by the time clock at the hospital and return it to Melissa Tackett, the hospital's public relations manager.
