LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Carrie Germania Schultz Church, 77, of Lexington, were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Lexington United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda O'Neal officiating. Burial followed in Lexington Cemetery.

Mrs. Church died Sunday, Nov. 8, at her home in Lexington.

She was born June 28, 1932, in Houston to Clarence Kenneth and Clara (Dowdy) Schultz.

She married John Anderson Church in Lexington.

Mrs. Church was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling.

She was a member of Lexington Garden Club, Lexington Red Hat Society and Lexington United Methodist Church. She was a former member of Lee County Sheriff's Posse.

Mrs. Church was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Survivors are four sons, Todd and Jana Church, Jeff and Toni Kay Church, all of Lexington, John Wayne Church of Giddings, Doug and Susan Church of Rockdale; five grandchildren, Cody Church, Payden Church, Amanda and Hailey Bexley, all of Lexington, Brandon and Amanda Church of Lincoln; a great-grandchild, Kayden Church of Lincoln; and two brothers, Paulson and Chris Schultz of Lexington, Kenneth and Elaine Schultz of Farmington, New Mexico; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Lexington Garden Club or the charity of one's choice.
