Seven theft calls for sheriff
It was mostly a routine week heading into the Thanksgiving holiday period for the Milam County Sheriff's Department. Sherif f Dav id Greene, and deputies, were called to investigate seven reports of thefts, and three burglaries, in widely scattered areas of the county. Full Story
Four wrecks reported in South Milam
Milam County state troopers investigated four traffic accidents on South Milam County roads over the past six days. No injuries were reported in any of the accidents. Trooper Ernest DelBosque said two vehicles were in collision on US 79, about 2.5 miles east of Rockdale at 12:21 a.m. Saturday. Full Story
