Dad, two sons charged in burglaries, drug use
A Thorndale area father and t wo sons were charged w ith offenses ranging from theft to drug possession were filed last week in connection with a raid by the Milam County Sheriff's Department. Arrested were: • Jerry Griffith, 60, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, released on $3,000 bond. Full Story

New gymnasium inspiration for tournament
Reporter/Bill Martin It's been almost 20 years since Rockdale hosted a holiday basketball tournament, but it's also been over 50 years since the school has had a new gymnasium.
