Can you think of a better place to invest?
Neighbor Grover sez many a farmer knows a bumblebee is faster than a John Deere tractor. We let a guest column by a wonderful writer occupy our space here last week, so here's a couple of belated comments: • Congratulations to Coach Jeff Miller, his staff and his Tigers on their fine 8-3 season and third straight playoff appearance. McClaren Bridge was damaged by floods
Editor's note: This is the final column in a series on Milam county's McClaren Bridge. The McClaren Bridge, built in 1912, withstood many major floods and river overflows before it was replaced.
