Morgan-Thurman vows given in Georgetown

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kent Thurman Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kent Thurman Kelsey Daw n Morgan and A ndrew Kent Thurman were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11, 2009, at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Patti Morgan of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of Jean Alford of Rockdale, and the late Weldon Alford, J. C. and Louise Morgan.

The groom is the son of Bud and Dell Thurman. He is the grandson of Dorothy Knight and Queena Thurman, all of Milano, and the late Owen Knight and Kent Thurman.

Randy Robinson officiated. Pianist Dee Maines provided the music.

A dinner and dance followed at Kindred Oaks. The rehearsal dinner was provided at Salt Lick Restaurant in Round Rock.

Given in marr iage by her father, the bride wore a wedding gown by Rivini Design. It was the essence of simple luxury with petal softness, a creamy shade of light ivory made of silk satin. It featured a strapless sweetheart neckline, trumpet silhouette, with intricate rhinestones and beading under the bust and down the backside.

Matron of honor was Amber Robinson, of Rockdale, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Brandy Morgan of Austin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law of the groom, Becky Thurman of Rockdale, Jessica Hodson of Houston, Amber Null and Renee Garza of Austin, and cousin of the bride, Courtney McGee of Jewitt.

Registering guests were Whitney Smith and Kayla Alford of College Station, both cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Kyndal and Kennedy Robinson, nieces of the bride, of Rockdale and Kayli Yakesch of Milano.

Best man was Matthew Thurman of Rockdale, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were John Yakesch, Cyler Brantley, Bill Silvey, J. R. Hurt, Danny Taylor, Jess Miller, all of Milano.

Ring bearers were Jace Robinson, nephew of the bride, of Rockdale and Christian Thurman, nephew of the groom, of Milano. Usher was brother-in-law of the bride, Eric Robinson of Rockdale.

House party included Shannon Yakesch and Kerry Silvey, both of Milano.

After a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, the couple are making their home in Milano.
