Everyone loves my stew, well... almost everyone

To those of you who tried husband Still Bill’s Chunky “Chew” recipe from last week and said you all liked it, a big thank you.

To my own Mother and my own daughter Katie, I say “Pppffffttttt!”

(I googled how to spell the raspberry sound and my spelling is as good as any of theirs.)

I make a very yummy vegetable stew. Everyone who tries it loves it.

My sister-in-law Noelia once drove through torrential rains and ice to get herself and my nephews a bowl.

Well okay, it was misty and the roads were slick. And it must have been cold, they all had coats on.

However, there has to be one in every crowd and in this case, there are two.

My Mom and daughter Katie both hate cabbage. I have to make my poor starving Daddy cabbage every now and then just so he won’t shrivel up to nothing.

And yes, I put cabbage in my stew. You would think I put a nice big dose of poison along with it, the way those two act.

Last week, we brought Bill’s “Chew” for everyone to eat on

....................................................................................................................3.9%* Tuesday since we are often too busy that day to leave for lunch.

First thing, Mom says “Who

.............................................. made it?” I told her Bill had. As I was walking back to my office, I heard her say “Good. She would probably put cabbage in the chili too!” I heard Katie

agree with her and say “Really!”

Again, I need to say this with

great clarity to the two of them,

“Pppffffttttt!”

So to be fair to all, I am

including my very yummy Vegetable

Stew recipe, complete with

a butt-load of cabbage.
