Bruckner

TAYLOR—Funeral services for Larry Wayne Bruckner, 61, of Rockdale, formerly of Taylor, were held Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at the Tenth Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Travis Summerlin officiating. Burial follow in Taylor City Cemetery.

Mr. Bruckner died Thursday, Dec. 3, at Richards Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 16, 1948, in Taylor to Littleton and Dora (Rundburg) Bruckner.

Mr. Br uck ner grew up on Annie Street in Taylor and was a Taylor High School graduate.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and most recently he worked for ERCOT. He previously worked at TU Electric for 17 years doing transformers maintenance and spent 11 years as a prison guard at T. Don Hutto Prison.

Mr. Bruckner was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Sharon Bruckner; and two sons, Lance W. Bruckner and Lane W. Bruckner, all of Rockdale; and many friends.

Serving as pallbearers were his sons, Lance and Lane, and other family friends.
