Rockdale Intermediate School hosted district University Interscholastic League competition Dec. 8 with 489 students representing seven school systems and 13 campuses participating.

Rebecca King, UIL sponsor, said Rockdale Intermediate placed third overall with 274 points. Caldwell won the competition with 487 and Cameron was second with 300.
