David, Clark chosen for AP All-State football team

The Rockdale Tigers are well represented on this season’s Associated Press Class 3A All- State football team as stalwarts Logan David and LeRaven Clark were named to the squad.

David, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound senior, is making his second appearance on the AP team, having been named honorable mention last season.

This year, David moved up to earn second-team status after making 92 stops this season and being named the District 24-3A defensive player of the year. Clark, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound junior of fensive tack le, was named honorable mention on offense.

Clark was t he only player in District 24-3A to be named first team on both offense and defense.

Of the Tigers 11 games this season, Clark gradest out highest among Tiger linemen in eight games at 93 percent.

Clark had 42 pancake blocks during the season.
