St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will host Rockdale’s final Red Cross Blood Drive of 2009 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 in the parish hall.

“The process, from check-in to the post-donation visit to the canteen, is usually only about an hour,” Lindsay Laws, Red Cross donor recruitment representative, said. “That hour of your time may mean extra days, months and years to someone.”

Potential donors must be at least age 17, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good health the day of donation.
