The only thing wrong with Thursday’s Second Grade Christmas Variety Show was its effect on some of the parents among the crowd of 250 as they filed out of the elementary cafetorium.

Bennie has lived in Rockdale all of his life and he learned at an early age that helping people is what life is all about. He taught that to his three children, 11 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Full Story
Whitmore piano students present Christmas program
Piano students of Dixie Whitmore played their Christmas theme program on Dec. 18 at First Baptist Church fellowship hall for students and guests.
Pieces performed in solos and duets were a variety of songs, tunes, carols and hymns of the season. At the close of the program refreshments were served. Full Story
