Fifteen draw sentences after pleas in 20th District Court

CAMERON—Fifteen persons drew sentences ranging from prison terms to probation Dec. 14 through 18 in 20th District Court.

Prosecutor Kerry Spears listed case dispositions as follows:

• Marcella McMeans, 52, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to theft of a firearm, three years deferred adjudication probation, fined $500.

• Johnny Miller, 20, Nederland, pleaded guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor of criminal mischief ($500 to $1,500), two-day county jail term, $1,197.66 restitution, $250 fine, $261 court costs.

• Lonnie Jared Sutton, 25, Milano, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle, three years deferred adjudication probation, 10-day county jail term, $2,000 fine.

• Troy Eugene Lablanc, 43, C ameron, pleaded g ui lt y to unlawful possession of a firearm, 10-year prison term probated 10 years, 30-day county jail term on weekends or when not at work.

• Jason Edward Norman, 21, Spring, pleaded guilty to Class A misdemeanor criminal mischief ($500 to $1,500), two years deferred adjudication probation, $593.51 restitution.

• Richard Arnold Sullivan, 64, Austin, pleaded guilty to DWIthird or more offense, 10-year probated prison term, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, ignition interlock on primary vehicle, oneyear driver’s license suspension, 90-day jail term, $1,500 fine.

• Fernando Reyes, 39, Cameron, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated-third or more offense, 10-year prison term probated five years, substance evaluation and any recommended treatment, 10-day county jail term, $1,500 fine.

• James Dav id Ferrow, 61, C ameron, pleaded g ui lt y to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 10 years deferred adjudication probation, completion of anger management classes, forfeit handgun.

• Cynthia Ramirez, 36, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to endangering a child, three years deferred adjudication probation, successful completion of parenting class.

• Patrick Rubio, 48, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to theft ($1,500 to $20,000), two-year state jail term, probated five years, $5,656 restitution.

• Octaviano Salomon, 26, Cameron, pleaded guilty to assault causes bodily injury/family violence, 10-year prison term probated five years, have no contact with victim.

• Thomas Rosales, 33, Smithville, pleaded guilty to DWI with passenger under 15, two-year state jail term probated three years, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, five-day county jail term, oneyear driver’s license suspension, ignition interlock on primary vehicle, $1,500 fine.

• Carala Melton, 36, Cameron, pleaded guilty to burglary of a habitation, seven years deferred adjudication probation, have no contact with victim, successfully complete anger management classes.

• Reginald Eugene Wade, 52, Austin, pleaded “true” to violating probation conditions on original conviction of burglary of a habitation, three-year prison term, $1,200 parole restitution.

• Sammy Moreno Salazar, 46, Cameron, pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals, two-year state jail term probated five years, $1,000 fine, $920 restitution.
