Martha graduated from RHS, left town to go to college and then in 1975 moved back to Rockdale.

AUSTIN — Nineteen new web sites featuring the Texas Historical Commission’s (THC) historic properties are now active, highlighting the unique stories of these real places from Texas’ past. The web sites are an upgrade from the previous single web pages to full, stand-alone web sites. Full Story

Fans, in addition to air conditioners, are a common feature in homes come the warm weather. However, recent research indicates that a fan can also play a role in protecting an infant’s health. Full Story
Dogs, cats need to develop social skills, too
Have you ever taken a brand new puppy on its first walk, or to a dog park with other dogs? This can sometimes be a difficult undertaking, seeing as puppies have yet to be exposed to many humans and animals in their young life. Hypothyroidism in canines
Hair loss, weight gain, lethargy and exercise intolerance are symptoms that most pet owners attribute to the onset of old age in their beloved pups. But, especially if your dog is about four to six years old, be aware that these might be symptoms of hypothyroidism. Full Story
