FINAL BLOOD DRAWING OF ‘09


The American Red Cross Bloodmobile visited the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church fellowship hall Tuesday for the final blood drawing of 2009. A total of 14 units were collected. Donors included Wayne Cotten (foreground) and Lillian Krenek in the background. Keeping tabs on the collection was Crystal Ransom, medical assistant.  Red Cross officials said someone in the United States requires blood every two seconds and donations by individuals are the only way to replenish the blood supply.
