Gause roads again topic for commissioners
CAMERON—Milam County commissioners’ first meeting of 2010 Monday looked a lot like the last meeting of 2009.
Several southest Milam area residents complained to commissioners about the condition of unpaved roads in southeast Milam County, terming them “hazardous, unsafe and often impassable.” Full Story

• 3:19 a.m. Friday, structure fire, 1022 West Cameron (US 79), caused by space heater and confined to a bathroom.

Two wrecks in South Milam
State troopers investigated two accidents in south Milam County during the past week.
Casey Allen, 29, of College Station was checked over at Richards Memorial Hospital after his vehicle left FM 486 and struck a guard rail at 11:48 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Trooper Donald Delukie.
Location was .9-mile south of County Road 443, he said. Full Story
