Two wrecks in South Milam

State troopers investigated two accidents in south Milam County during the past week.

Casey Allen, 29, of College Station was checked over at Richards Memorial Hospital after his vehicle left FM 486 and struck a guard rail at 11:48 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Trooper Donald Delukie.

Location was .9-mile south of County Road 443, he said.

Damages were termed extensive.

Moderate damage, and no injuries, were reported in a 6:30 p.m. Friday accident on CR 422, 1.1 miles southeast of CR 422A, according to Trooper David Yarbrough.

He listed the driver as Robert Sessions, 54, of Granger.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
