Shooter gets attempted murder indictment
A 22-year-old Milano man has been indicted for attempted capital murder of a police officer in connection with a shootout with Rockdale Police Ofc. S. A. Smith.
Erric Scott Anderson was also indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of a public servant during Thursday’s grand jury session, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears. Full Story

The year 2009 is one for the record books, and where the county jobless rate is concerned, it was the worst showing since the Workforce Commission began keeping records.
