‘Math Facts’ seeks bike sponsors THE KID’S GOT HEART’—
Rockdale Elementary and Intermediate Schools are again holding a “Match Facts” competition this school term and are seeking businesses or individuals to provide bicycles as prizes.

Ten BPA students statebound
Ten Rockdale High School students will attend the Business Professionals of America (BPA) 2010 State Leadership Conference, in Fort Worth March 3-6, according to Kay Vance and Gloria Walker, chapter advisors.

Results for District 29-A Elementary UIL academic contests have been released and local schools Thorndale, Milano and Gause had students taking home awards.
Thrall Elementary School took the top team honors, followed by Thorndale in second and Milano in third. Results for Thorndale, Milano and Gause students were listed as follows:

This week’s RHS Student of the week sophomore Cinda Baggerly. The daughter of Tim Burns and Jackie Lacy, she was nominated by technology teacher Glenda Walker, who believes that she is one of the most motivated students on campus.
