About 1,200 people are on the job at Luminant’s Sandow Power Plant Unit 4 this week,
Unit 4 is down for the installation of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system which was part of an anti-pollution suit settlement between Alcoa and three citizens groups.

Early voting for the March 2 Democratic and Republican primaries gets under way Tuesday, Feb. 16 and there are location changes in Rockdale and Thorndale.
Rockdale location is City Hall instead of Precinct 3 JP Twila Harris’ office.
