Cameron Masons set fish fry for Feb. 13

CAMERON—San Andres Masonic Lodge 170 in Cameron will hold its sixth annual fish fry lunch Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bea’s Kitchen, across from the courthouse.

Tickets are $7, dine-in or carryout, and includes catfish, fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and a home-made dessert. A silent auction will also be held.

Proceeds aid the lodge and the cleanup of Port Sullivan Cemetery on the Brazos River in east Milam County. Port Sullivan was one of the county’s earliest towns, and although long abandoned, the cemetery contains graves of several noted Texans.
