CAMERON—Funeral services for Ethel Virginia Doss Henry, 92, of Cameron will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Monica’s Mausoleum.

Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Thursday before mass.

Family visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henry died Friday, Feb. 12, in a Temple nursing home.

She was born July 22, 1917, in Wadsworth to W.W. and Ida (Culver) Doss.

Mrs. Henry was a 1939 graduate of the University of Texas.

She married Ernest Edward (E.E.) Harry on Jan. 23, 1941.

Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Harry.

Survivors include her husband, E.E. Harry of Temple; two sons, Ernest Edward “Ed” Harry and wife Janelle of Johnson City, Wayne Harry and wife Ann of Austin; two daughters, Barbara Harry Hajovsky and husband A.G. “Bud” of Cameron, Elaine Harry Jenkins and husband Ed of Angleton; two brothers, W.W. “Billy” Doss of Wadsworth, James Doss Gutherie of Oklahoma; and a sister, Rosemar y Sutton of College Station; also, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron.
