AWARD-WINNING SCIENTISTS


AWARD-WINNING Five Rockdale High School students placed in the senior division of the Central Texas Science and Engineering Fair held on the Texas State Technical College campus in Waco on Feb. 23-24, SCIENTISTS according to sponsor Art Free. Tyler King placed first in the Physics and Astronomy division with his project “Vid-Glasses,” while Amauri Herrera placed first in the Biochemistry division with his project “Human Digestion.” Kari Kratz-Manas placed second in the Chemistry division with her project “Freezing Point Depression Efficiency.” The students qualified for the Texas Science and Engineering Fair to be held April 9-12 in San Antonio.
