This spring, we’ll all be wild for wildflowers
Spring is so close we can feel it. A foray through the gardening section of any store primes us for the moment when the last freeze date passes. Wildflower seed packages range in artful mosaics along the seed aisle, alluring and seductive in their beauty. Impossibly blue bluebonnets, deeply purple coneflower. County extension forage clinic slated March 12 in Buckholts
On March 12, forage producers will have an opportunity to learn new management techniques for your pastures as well as tips on recovering from the recent droughts.
The clinic will be held at the Buckholts Community Center. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9. The event will last until 2 p.m. and include a noon meal. Full Story

The clinic is scheduled from 2—4 p.m. Saturday at the Youth Exposition Building in Cameron. Youth are welcome to bring their animals to practice.
