WELCOME HOME


WELCOME HOME U. S. Marine Corp. Sergeant, Jason R. Zapata (L) was recently welcomed home and presented with the Knights of Columbus “Patriotic Service Award” by Grand Knight Rodney Barcak. Zapata served in the U.S. Marines as a Combat Engineer for four years, including two tours of duty in Iraq . He was honorably discharged and is currently employed by Fort Bend Mechanical. He currently lives and works in Stafford. Zapata is a 2001 Rockdale High School graduate, a Knights of Columbus member, and son of Jeff and Kelley Zapata of Rockdale.
