Cuba

Services for Kim Cuba, 46, of Caldwell were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Minister Ray Don McIntosh of Murray Street Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

Ms. C uba d ied Sat u rd ay, March 6, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

She was born March 8, 1963, in Taylor to Gene Cuba and Terry Cryer Cuba.

Ms. Cuba was baptized into the Church of Christ at Watters Road Church of Christ in Pasadena in 1984.

She was a housew ife and homemaker and had worked as assistant manager at the Dollar Store in Somerville and at a grocery store in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ms. Cuba was a Caldwell resident for the past 14 years and previously lived in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Terry Cuba.

Survivors are her father, Gene Cuba of Pasadena; two sons, Joshua Hilderbrand of Alperetta, Georgia, Jared Hilderbrand of Austin; a daughter, Jessie Hilderbrand of Caldwell; a brother, Ron Cuba and wife Diane of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Rhonda Freeman of Belton, Gena Stanford of Caldwell.

Pallbearers were to be Taylor Cuba, Ryan Cuba, Robert Cuba, Kayla Pampell, Jason Worley and Lanny Worley.
