Hutchinson

Services for Mamie Virginia Hutchinson, 75, of Thorndale were held Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Thorndale with Eric Garcia and Jay Burnett officiating. Interment followed in Salty Cemetery.

Mrs. Hutchinson died Friday, March 5, at her home in Thorndale.

She was born April 1, 1934, in the Salty community to Ed Thomas Caffey and Mamie Violet (Catchings) Caffey.

She married Frank Robert Hutchinson on Feb. 6, 1981.

Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of First Baptist Church of Thorndale, WMU and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She had been a Thorndale resident since July 2001 and was formerly of Pasadena and the area for 52 years.

Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Robert Hutchinson, and two brothers, Ned Kenneth Caffey and Wilford Barkley Caffey.

Survivors are a daughter, Bernadean Webb and husband Ronnie Hooke of Pasadena; a brother, Eddie Guy Caffey and wife Daisy of Thorndale; a nephew, Stanley Caffey and wife Lisa; and two nieces, Fawn Baldwin, Anesta Rydell and husband Raymond; also, several other nieces, greatnieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers were Bobby Caffey, Noe Garcia, Ray Seal, Stanley Caffey, Hector Hernandez and Robert McCoy.

Honorary pallbearers were John R amirez, Guy Bark ley Edwards and James Rodriquez.
