Aggies don’t of fer ClarkApparently Texas A&M has all its recruiti ng pr oblem s solved and is on the road back to respectability.
On an “unofficial” recruiting trip to Coll ege Station last Thursday, Aggie Coach Mike Sherman declined to offer Rockdale lineman L eR aven Clark a scholar- ship, but he was invited to come back and attend their summer camp.
The 6-foot-6, 247-pound lineman has solid scholarship offers from Missouri, Oklahoma St., TCU, Baylor and Houston on the table right now.
The Aggies are 10-15 in the past two seasons and have won one bowl game in the last 15 seasons.
A&M is after 6-foot-6, 290- pound lineman Nathan Gutekunst of Atascocita and he was also on campus last week.
They have also offered Shreveport Evangel lineman Jermauria Rasco (6-3, 227) a full ride.
The Aggies have received commitments from six offensive/ defensive linemen so far, including Alief Elkins’ Jake Matthews (6-5, 285), the son of NFL Hall of Fame Bruce Matthews.
