Apparently Texas A&M has all its recruiti ng pr oblem s solved and is on the road back to respectability.

Clark Clark On an “unofficial” recruiting trip to Coll ege Station last Thursday, Aggie Coach Mike Sherman declined to offer Rockdale lineman L eR aven Clark a scholar- ship, but he was invited to come back and attend their summer camp.

The 6-foot-6, 247-pound lineman has solid scholarship offers from Missouri, Oklahoma St., TCU, Baylor and Houston on the table right now.

The Aggies are 10-15 in the past two seasons and have won one bowl game in the last 15 seasons.

A&M is after 6-foot-6, 290- pound lineman Nathan Gutekunst of Atascocita and he was also on campus last week.

They have also offered Shreveport Evangel lineman Jermauria Rasco (6-3, 227) a full ride.

The Aggies have received commitments from six offensive/ defensive linemen so far, including Alief Elkins’ Jake Matthews (6-5, 285), the son of NFL Hall of Fame Bruce Matthews.
