Brahm

Services for Amy Sue Brahm, 76, of Rockdale were scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Brother Alden Crowe of Milano officiating. Burial was to be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Ms. Bra hm died Monday, March 29, in Manor Oaks Nursing Center in Rockdale.

She was a Rockdale resident for the past 16 years and was formerly of Waco.

She was born Dec. 27, 1933, in Rockdale to Henry Brahm and Minna (Vogel) Brahm.

Ms. Brahm was a registered nurse with the VA Medical Center in Waco, retiring in 1993 after 40 years.

She was a graduate of Rockdale High School, Providence Hospital School of Nursing, Baylor University and Texas Women’s University of Denton.

Ms. Brahm was a member of the American Nurses Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Antone Brahm and John Henry Brahm; two sisters, Anita Jane Brahm and Dorothy Louise Shooter; and a nephew, John Marvin Brahm.

Survivors are three nephews, Timothy Ray Brahm of Ripley, Mississippi, Robert Henry Brahm of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and J.H. Shooter of Austin.

Pallbearers will be Charles Hubert, Charlie Watson and Billy Tom McDaniel.
