Lodge honors members, supports troops

CA MERON—The Cameron/ Rockdale Sons of Hermann Lodge 140-2 honored two 60-year members and supported U.S. military troops in Iraq and Afghanistan during a meeting March 23.

Ralph Duffy of Bishop and John Duffy of Cameron received 60- year membership pin, presented by David Ehler, lodge president.

Ehler also presented a lodge check for $200 to Grand Lodge representative Mary Beam in support of the “Hugs From Home,” a project that sends care packages to military personnel in war zones.

Next meeting of the Cameron/ Rockdale lodge will be at 6:30 p.m. June 15 at Bea’s Kitchen. A fried fish dinner will be served.
