Having lost three of four and sitting at 2-5 in the district standings, the Rockdale Lady Tigers were at a decided turning point in their season.

The race for the postseason now begins as the Milano Eagles baseball team get the second round of District 26A play started.
The Eagles opened up the second round of loop play on Tuesday night with a 9-5 road win at Bartlett.

Lady Dogs secure fifth straight playoff appearance with wins
Milano stops four game losing streak against Bartlett
The Thorndale Lady Dogs (8-6, 6-2) have secured a postseason berth for the fifth straight season after district wins over Holland and Bartlett this week.
Holland jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second, but the Lady Dogs rallied in the top of the third, putting across three runs of their own. Full Story
